Who we are
Doodle Math is the data controller for information collected on this website. For pupils using Doodle Math through school, the school is the controller and we act as its processor. Contact our data protection lead at privacy@doodlemath.example.
What this website collects
Free trial sign-up
- What
- Your email, your child's first name if you give it, their year group and the plan you chose.
- Why
- To set up your account and email you about it.
- How long
- 30 days after a trial ends, unless you subscribe.
School demo booking
- What
- Your name, school email, school name, role, number of pupils and the time you picked.
- Why
- To run the demo and follow up with your school.
- How long
- 12 months after the demo.
Page counts
- What
- Which page was viewed and whether a demo game was started or finished, as daily totals.
- Why
- To know if the site is working. No cookies, no IP addresses, no device details.
- How long
- Totals only, kept for 2 years.
The demo game
- What
- Nothing. Answers and stars stay on the device and disappear when you leave the page.
- Why
- Children should be able to play without anyone collecting anything.
- How long
- Not applicable.
Our lawful basis for trial sign-ups is taking steps to enter a contract with you. For page counts it is our legitimate interest in running a working website, and because they are anonymous totals they do not identify anyone.
Cookies and trackers
This website sets no cookies and loads nothing from other companies: no analytics providers, no advertising networks, no social media pixels, no embedded videos and no web fonts from third parties. A browser security policy blocks third-party scripts, and an automated scan checks every release.
How we follow the Age Appropriate Design Code
- High privacy settings by default in the app, for every child
- No profiling, no behavioural advertising and no nudges to play for longer
- No geolocation, no microphone and no camera access
- No sharing of children's data with anyone, except processors we need to run the service
- Parental controls are visible to the child, so they know what a grown-up can see
- Privacy information written for children as well as grown-ups (you're reading it)
Your rights
You can ask to see, correct or delete the information we hold about you or your child, or object to how we use it. Email privacy@doodlemath.example and we'll reply within one month. If you're unhappy with our answer, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.

Hello! This part is for you.
Here is how we keep you safe when you play.
There are no adverts here.
Nobody can chat to you, and you can't chat to strangers.
We don't watch what you do or tell anyone about it.
Buttons that go outside the game ask a grown-up first.
If anything feels wrong or worrying, tell a grown-up you trust.
